New Delhi: Mega Super star Rajinikanth’s fans have been desperately waiting to get an update about their favorite star ‘Thalaivar’. This is the superstar’s next big project after ‘Laal Salam’. According to sources, the Pre-Production of the film is likely to kick off by June 2024. To create more excitement among the audience, the makers have shared an update about the title teaser and release date announcement coming on April 14th.

talking about the film, director Lokesh Kanagaraj shared the film will go on floors in June, 2024 and it will take one and a half year to complete the film. He also added that “I am confident that the writing process will be done by then. It’s going to be a high-octane action film for Rajini Sir after many years (sic).”
The director Lokesh Kanagaraj is currently working on the ‘Thalaivar 171’. He also made some important announcements about his upcoming projects he will working on. He said he will be working on ‘Kaithi 2’, ‘Leo 2’ and ‘Vikram 2’. The film ‘Vikram 2’ will star Kamal Haasan in a tutorial role.
