New Delhi: Despite releasing on limited screen all over India, The Kashmir Files have reached great heights of box office within just two days of its release. The box office registered 139.44% growth and is considered as the highest ever growth in the Bollywood industry in two days since 2020. The current total of the movie stands at Rs 12.05 crore.
Vivek Agnihotri’s film narrates the heart-wrenching story of the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. Since the first day of its release, the movie has inspired and touched millions of hearts and the audiences are spreading nothing but positive words about the storyline, cast, and cinematography amongst others.
Film trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the big news about The Kashmir Files’ box office success. He wrote, “The Kashmir Files is SENSATIONAL, biz more than doubles on Day 2… Registers 139.44 per cent growth, HIGHEST EVER GROWTH [Day 2] since 2020… East, West, North, South, Box office is on (fire)… This film is UNSTOPPABLE… Fri 3.55 cr, Sat 8.50 cr. Total: Rs 12.05 cr. India biz… FANTASTIC!” (sic).”
