New Delhi: The month of August returns with interesting lineups after a tremendous month of July for movie theatres, which saw box office smashes from Oppenheimer to Rocky au Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Here are the month’s most-anticipated films, so you won’t have to miss out on the conversation.

Jailer (August 10)

Jailer stars Rajinikanth as the stern prison warden Muthuvel Pandian. The film centres on his experiences as a jail warden. Here’s where things take an unexpected turn: several terrible gangs break into the jail in search of their gang boss. In the film Jailer, Rajinikanth once again displays his savage side.

Byomkesh Bakshi with DSP Purandar Pandey investigates the mysterious murders of many members of the Singha family and the disappearance of Ramkishore, who is believed to have buried a treasure in his family’s hilltop fort. Byomkesh makes his way through a series of mysterious events, all of which end in a suspicious death.

Like in many other typical Bengali families, the mothers, and daughters in this one has different perspectives and ways of thinking, as well as different backgrounds.
