New Delhi: Pathan and Tiger, two of Hindi cinema’s most famous characters, are slated to square off in the forthcoming spy-action thriller ‘Tiger vs Pathaan,’ which will begin filming in January 2024. While the viewers loved watching the two characters’ friendship in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathaan,’ the invincibles will indeed be taking on one another in the latest additions to the spy universe.
The production company behind the Indian spy universe YRF, according to an anonymous source, isn’t commenting anything about this project as of now as the crew has some major and distinctive plans to unveil it in a big way, but the production work on the movie – ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’ has already begun.
In the meantime, trade expert – Taran Adarsh gives a hint of the project today by listing out the movies of the YRF Spy Universe that includes the forthcoming movies too. Take a look at this:

All films from the formidable franchises ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ ‘War,’ and now ‘Pathaan’ have been blockbusters, making YRF Spy Universe one of the biggest IP in Indian cinema. With ‘Pathaan,’ the YRF now boasts the nation’s highest Hindi movie as a mark of achievement.
How it all started?
It all started in 2012, when Salman Khan seized over with the ‘Tiger’ in ‘Ek Tha Tiger,’ and ended in 2017 with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai,’ wherein he reprised his character as a super-spy. Then, in 2019, Hrithik Roshan blew the audience off their feet with ‘War,’ one of Hindi cinema’s most gorgeous flicks. The notion of the spy world was created with two agents in line, and ‘Pathaan,’ with its huge collections, offered the right location for the universe and Tiger vs Pathaan.
