New Delhi: Fans took to social media to express their shock after actor Dhanush K Raja and his wife Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth announced their separation, putting end to 18 years of marriage on Monday.
“18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting, and adapting. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate. Aishwaryaa and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better”, Dhanush posted on Twitter.
While several expressed shock over the news, a section of social media users came out in support of the former couple and urged everyone to respect their privacy.
