New Delhi: Social media sensation Uorfi Javed has been detained in Dubai for allegedly shooting a video in public, said reports.
She was detained for wearing a revealing outfit in public which is not allowed in the country.
According to reports, Uorfi Javed, who is known for her revealing and sassy fashion sense is currently being questioned by the authorities in Dubai.
If reports are to be believed, Uorfi has flown to the United Arab Emirates for the shoot of her upcoming projects, and she is there for more than a week now.
Uorfi often grabs attention and makes headlines for sharing videos and pictures wearing revealing and unique outfits.
As per a new report, Uorfi was questioned by local police in Dubai for filming a video ‘in an open area’ wearing something that was not ‘allowed’ to be shot in public.
Media reports said she was interrogated by authorities in Dubai. Also, the local authorities in the UAE might postpone her return ticket to India.
On the work front, she was recently seen on the dating reality show Splitsvilla X4, hosted by actors Sunny Leone and Arjun Bijlani.
Earlier, she also landed in legal trouble for wearing an orange saree Uorfi for a music video that featured her in it.
