New Delhi: On screen chemistry of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone is something the fans love and look forward whenever there’s news of them working together. Ever since ‘Bachan Ae Haseeno’ they have been considered as one of the most loved on-screen couples in Bollywood.
But their most loved performances were in the Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’. The film also starred Kalki Koechlin, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunaal Roy Kapur in major roles.
It was a box-office hit and was well-received by both audience and critics who loved everything about the movie – performances, storyline and songs. Its been 8 years since the movie was on silver screens, but people still quote its dialogues and listen to its groovy songs like ‘Balam Pichkari’ and ‘Badtameez Dil’.
As the movie marked its eight year anniversary on Monday, a fan page recently released a ‘deleted scene’ from the movie and it has left the viewers rolling on the floor.

In the scene, Ranbir’s character Bunny enters the room of Deepika’s character Naina while asking her to get ready as soon as possible as they are planning to explore Udaipur. While talking, he hears some sound from the bathroom and she is inside taking a ‘hot shower’. He then starts teasing her by saying that he is tired of bathing alone and if he can join her. But to his surprise, Naina emerges from the back leaving him shocked and embarrassed.
Work Front
The fan favorite on-screen couple last worked together in Tamasha which was directed by Imtiaz Ali and released in 2015. There are reports that they will soon be seen coming together again for director Luv Ranjan’s next. The details regarding the movie haven’t been revealed yet.
Before that, Ranbir will next be seen with Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in Ayan Mukherji’s much anticipated ‘Brahmastra’. While Deepika is waiting for the release of Kabir Khan’s 83 in which she plays the wife of Kapil Dev who is played by her real life husband Ranveer Singh.
She also has Mahaharat and Shakun Batra’s next yet-untitled project which also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
