Vijay Deverakonda to play a ‘Cop’ in his next, first look of #VD12 out

New Delhi: The stylish Telugu film artist Vijay Deverakonda is apparently slated to portray a cop for the very first time in his movie career.

According to the most recent reports, the versatile actor is collaborating with best-known filmmaker Gautam Tinnanuri, renowned for the widely acclaimed movie Jersey, for his upcoming Telugu film.

The project, appropriately titled VD 12, was officially launched on January 13, Friday, via the crew members’ official accounts on social media.

The project’s creators, Vijay Deverakonda and Gautam Tinnanuri, made the public declaration by uploading a poster with an anonymized statement that says, ‘I don’t know where I belong, to tell you whom I betrayed.’ The picture also features a side profile of a cop with something like a cloth covering his face, implying that #VD12 is going to be regular cop drama.

The wonderful actor, who seems to be ecstatic regarding his upcoming project, got to his official social media account and wrote something that means, The Story. The Group. My next step. When he got to hear this, his heart sank a few beats. #VD12.

Sithara Entertainments, a renowned production company, is collaborating with Fortune Four Cinemas for VD 12. Gowtam Tinnanuri, one of Telugu cinema’s best narrators, directed and wrote the eagerly awaited Vijay Deverakonda starrer. Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya will co-produce the movie, which will be presented by Srikara Studios.

Despite the fact that little is known about the movie’s cast and crew, reports indicate that leading female actors both from the South movie industry and Bollywood are in discussions to perform the female lead in the project. The project is however expected to involve some of India’s best actors and directors in its crew as well.
