New Delhi: After the hype witnessed post the trailer launch of crime thriller ‘Vikram Vedha’, it was believed that Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer movie would be tremendous at the box office.
Now, the figures of the opening collection of ‘Vikram Vedha’ have emerged and the beginning of the film looks lighter than expected. However, the film has received good reviews and viewers who returned after seeing the initial shows in theatres are also praising it.
At present, it seems like ‘Vikram Vedha’ is going to be benefited from the word of mouth in the coming days, while the advance booking for ‘Vikram Vedha’ on Saturday also suggests the same.
Vikram Vedha Opening Collection:
The initial estimates of the opening collection of Hrithik and Saif’s film suggest that the film earned nearly Rs 10.50 crore at the box office on Friday. The final figures could be slightly better than this, though there is little room for much difference.
Meanwhile, the gross collection for ‘Vikram Vedha’ on Friday from advance booking was Rs 2.97 crore.
At present, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer movie tops the opening collection of Bollywood films in 2022, which garnered Rs 36 crores on its first day in India. Looking at the list, the opening collection of ‘Vikram Vedha’ happens to be less than many big flops of this year.
The major flops of the ongoing year include Akshay Kumar’s ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ and Aamir Khan’s ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’.
However, the Vikram Vedha’s day 1 collection is at par with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
