‘Vikram Vedha’ on OTT: Check when & where to watch Hrithik, Saif starrer action-thriller for free

New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan starrer action-thriller ‘Vikram Vedha’ is set to release on OTT platform. After its box-office success, fans were eagerly waiting to enjoy it once again. The film was released in cinemas on 30 September 2022 and it took a while for the makers to bring it to a wider audience on OTT.

‘Vikram Vedha’ will release on May 12 on Jio Cinema. Makers shared a special 30-second teaser to make the announcement. The OTT platform also announced that the film will stream for free.

Directed by Gayatri and Pushkar, the film is a remake of a Tamil film with the same title and the same directors. ‘Vikram Vedha’ stars Hrithik and Saif opposite each other where Hrithik plays the don Vedha and Saif plays a cop. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, and Sharib Hashmi.

The movie, inspired by the tale of ‘Vikram-Vetal’, follows Vedha narrating his story to Vikram to confuse him between who is right and who is wrong. The film deals with the themes of grey areas between right and wrong. While Vedha is a gangster, Vikram has killed many people in encounters and there is much more to the story which is beyond good and evil.

The film earned about Rs 135 crore at the box office and was able to recover the expenses while making some gross profit. Fans appreciated the performances and people who had not watched the Tamil version got a fresh storyline with less explored theme and narrative structure.

The original film starred Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan and is streaming on MX Player.
