New Delhi: Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma, in an interview with Grazia India, talked about the time when Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal invited her and Virat Kohli for dinner at their place. She recalled the time when Katrina invited her over for dinner and also talked about being socially awkward and avoiding parties.
Anushka said that she is an introvert and while she does not go to parties, calling a few friends over is okay with her. She said that as she grew older, she realised that talking on the surface and small talk is not a thing for her.
Talking about the incident, she said that once Katrina and Vicky, who were their new neighbours, invited them for dinner, but she and Virat eat dinner at 6 pm and we sleep at 9:30. So, she said that they will have dinner by 7-7:30 pm and leave early, to which Katrina replied that they can have dinner and Vicky and she will have snacks at that time.
She said that Shah Rukh Khan understands that she is socially awkward and now does not invite her to parties, for which she calls SRK her true friend. Anushka added that both SRK and Katrina understand this and accept her for what she is and that is the nicest thing one can do.
Anushka, Shah Rukh and Katrina have worked together in ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and ‘Zero’. Katrina and Vicky married in December 2021 and became the neighbours of Anushka and Virat, which seems to have strengthened the bond between the two actors.
On the work front, Anushka did a cameo in ‘Qala’ and will now be seen in Jhulan Goswami’s biopic ‘Chakda ‘Xpress’.
