Sidharth Shukla talked openly about his struggles with money after winning Bigg Boss 13 and having to deal with his father’s death. He also discussed the difficulties his mother, Rita Shukla, faced in caring for the family.
As Sidharth stated in a conversation with Humans of Bombay, “Although I have a tough exterior and am known to everyone as a man, when it comes to my mother, I always melt. Since the day I was born, she has been the most significant figure in my life. Being the youngest of three children and too young to play with my sisters, I was always close to my mother. When I was a young child, my mother would hold me in one hand while she made rotis because I would wail if she left for even a split second! ”

He also discussed the difficulties he faced after the death of his father. Sidharth remarked, “When my father passed away fifteen years ago, it was as if the roof had been ripped off above us. However, there was a woman I knew by the name of “My Mom” who was our rock and never displayed any symptoms of weakness. She managed the household, took care of our three children, and met all of our needs despite our little resources. Now that I think about it, I can see how much she must have given up to give us what we wanted. ”

Sidharth added that he was happiest when her mother expressed her pride in him because he could make her smile and refer to her as the woman who meant the world to him.
