New Delhi: Mamitha Baiju hails from Kottayam, Kerala. Apart from being an actor she is also a trained Classical dancer and model. She made her acting debut in 2017 with the film ‘Sarvopari Palakkaran’ However she was noticed by audience in the film ‘Kho Kho’. Some of her other successful films are ‘Operation Java’, ‘Saranya’ and ‘Premalu’.

Mamitha completed her schooling from Mary Mount Public School and is currently pursuing BSc in Psychology at sacred Heart College in Kochi. Her father is a Professional doctor and Mother is a Home-Maker. She has an elder brother. Before entering into acting, she was trying her hands in the Modelling Industry. She entered the film industry with the film ‘Sarvopari Palakkaran’. Some of her noted screen performances was in the film ‘Super Shanaya’ which received lot of recognition.

She was also praised for her role in ‘Pranayavilasam’ with actor Arjun Asokan which was a Romantic Comedy. She played the role of a carefree students which was highly appreciated by audience.

Apart from working in Malayalam Films, Mamitha is also trying her hands in Tamil Films with ‘ Rebel’ which is directed by the director Nikesh RS. The film is scheduled to release on March 22, 2024. Apart from this, she is doing the female lead in Vishnu Vishal’s upcoming film which is directed by Ram Kumar.

Mamitha is currently ruling the box office with her performance in the film ‘Premalu’ which is a romantic comedy film written and directed by Girish A.D. The film stars Mamitha Baiju and K Gafoor in the lead roles.
