Actor-model Poonam Pandey has lodged a complaint about her husband Sam Bombay for physical assault. Sam has been arrested by Mumbai police on Monday.
New Delhi: Sam Bombay, Indian film producer, director, and actor and also the husband of actor-model Poonam Pandey has been arrested on Monday after the latter lodged a complaint against him regarding physical assault. Reportedly, Poonam suffered face and hand injuries and was admitted to the hospital. Sam has been charged under the sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Sam Bombay rose to fame after Poonam Pandey announced that she was dating Sam for a very long time. The duo tied the knot on September 1, 2020, and announced to their social media handle after some days. The two were in a relationship for a long time before they got engaged in July 2020.

Sam Bombay, the full name Sam Ahmed Bombay, was born and brought up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He completed his early schooling at Jabel Ali School and then acquired his graduation degree from the University of Dubai. Currently, he is situated in Mumbai.

Sam Bombay has two children – son Troy Bombay and daughter Tia Bombay. They are his children from his first wife Elle Ahmed, a model. Poonam Pandey is his second wife.

Sam Bombay, at the age of 21 joined the advertising and communication industry. At the age of 28, he became the Creative Director of Y&R, Dubai. At 31 years, he was made Partner & Regional Executive Creative Director of Y&R Brands for the respective region. He also directed a short film named ‘King of the Rings’ in 2017 that starred Akshay Kumar. He also directed several commercials that featured Deepika Padukone, Tamannaah Bhati, cricketer Yuvraj Singh amongst others. This is not the first time Poonam lodged a complaint against Sam after their wedding. Sam was arrested last year for assaulting her for days during their honeymoon in Goa. Later, he was granted bail and Poonam reunited with him.
