New Delhi: In an unfortunate News Tamil actor Daniel Balaji passed away due to a heart attack on Friday night. He was feeling pain in the chest when he was rushed to the hospital in Chennai where he died. He was 48 years old and his last rites will take place today. The South Cinema is in a state of shock after the news of his demise.

Film Analyst Sreedhar Pillai also shared the news of his demise in his twitter handle, he wrote, “Such a Sad news. He Was an inspiration for me to join film institute. A very good friend. Who was Daniel Balaji?
Daniel Balaji’s real name was T C Balaji. He was born on 2nd December in Chennai. His mother was a Tamil and father was a Telugu. He studied Film direction from Taramani Film Institute in Chennai. He started his film career by working as a Unit Production Manager in Kamal Haasan’s film ‘Marudhanayagam’. His first role was in the Television serial ‘Chithi’ in which his character’s name was Daniel. His first Tamil film was ‘April Madhaathil’.
