New Delhi: Netizens calling for a boycott of any of Aamir Khan’s upcoming projects including his films or any other products he endorses, ever since after his ‘intolerant’ remark, is nothing new on the Indian side of social media.
In the past, Aamir and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ has been called for a complete boycott by Twitter users for numerous reasons.
Twitteratis had trolled the actor even for praising Vivek Agnihotri directorial ‘The Kashmir Files’, calling it a publicity stunt to get into the good books of the people for the benefit of his upcoming Hindi adaptation of the renowned Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’.
However, this once, social media users have numerous reasons for boycotting the film including nepotism, patriotism, and whatnot. Moreover, Netizens are also furious about why to watch a ‘copied’ film, when the original master-piece is available on the OTT in Hindi and English both.
