New Delhi: With the inclusion of RRR star Jr NTR, the follow-up to Yash Raj Films’ 2019 smash War has become even larger. The south Indian superstar’s collaboration in the Hrithik Roshan-led cast of War 2 was revealed today.

Taran Adarsh, a trade expert, tweeted: “It is now official. War 2 stars Hrithik-Jr NTR. YRF performs a casting coup. In War 2, Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will share screen time for the first time. The film is directed by Ayan Mukerji.”

According to the sources, “In War 2, Jr NTR is pitted against Hrithik Roshan. It’s going to be incredible! Their battle of wits and violent confrontation will undoubtedly be a big-screen action extravaganza to remember. War has become a real pan-Indian picture. Aditya Chopra’s decision allows War 2 to have the broadest public appeal for a Hindi film while also increasing the picture’s box office possibilities. Because of the presence of their adored idol, South India should come alive and connect on a more emotional level with the film.”

“One of South India’s most renowned and adored icons is Junior NTR. He is believed to be a very discriminating moviegoer, so if he approved of the film, it means that War 2 performs better than the first in terms of story and length. The chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR will be one to remember! Let’s set a reminder to watch this fight on the first day! Aditya Chopra had to take War 2 to a whole new level of scale, and the addition of Jr NTR has made this concept incredibly appealing to audiences,” the source added.

War 2 will show up in the Yash Raj Spy Universe, which includes Pathaan and Salman Khan’s Tiger flicks. Salman appeared as Tiger in Pathaan, and Hrithik’s character Kabir was referenced in a conversation but did not appear. War, directed by Siddharth Anand and starring Tiger Shroff, was one of the year’s biggest successes.
