New Delhi: ‘Women in Blue’ is a spanish language drama inspired by true events. The crime series is directed by the eminent award winning director Fernando Rovzar and Pablo Aramendi. ‘Women in Blue’ is based on real life events based on the backdrop of 1971. The story of the crime series revolves around the life of four women who defy all the traditional norms and join the police force of Mexico.

The main character of the Spanish crime series is played by Mexican actress and model Barbara Mori who has done a fantastic job playing the role of a female police officer in Mexico.

The story of the film takes interesting twists and turns when the 4 women officers find out that their squad is a trap to distract the attention of the media from a serial killer. As the story progresses, the four women discovers about the serial killer, they decide to bring down the killer to the law and that’s how the story line takes an interesting turn.

The star cast of the crime show includes Mori, Sariñana, Téllez, Rasgado, Miguel Rodarte, Leonardo Sbaraglia, Christian Tappán and Horacio García Rojas. The four police officers then start hunting the serial killer and leave no stone unturned to spare him. They were initially judged by people for not been able to perform the task as they were women.
