103 expletives in 37 minutes: Rajasthan Cong MLA abuses SHO non-stop, audio clip circulates

New Delhi: In a rare case of flagrant abuse of power, a Congress legislator from Rajasthan hurled cuss words at a senior police officer for not obeying his diktats.

Rajendra Singh Bidhuri, MLA from Bangu seat of Chittorgarh went berserk at the Bhainsrogarh SHO Sanjay Gurjar and rained series of swear words at the latter.

The audio clip of reported conversation between the legislator & SHO has gone viral on social media and people are expressing disgust over gross misuse of power. In just 37 minutes, the MLA uses expletives for 103 times and blames the SHO for ‘goof-up’ in some probe.

The SHO kept pleading before the MLA and asked him to restrain himself but the MLA was unrelenting in his attack. According to reports, the SHO Sanjay Gurjar told the legislator that certain IPC clauses can’t be added in a certain case to which the latter objected and warned the SHO of action.

The SHO lodged a complaint the MLA for threatening him on phone and also put a request for his transfer from the current place. The SP has allowed transfer of Sanjay Gurjar and called for probe into it.

Meanwhile, the MLA has denied hurling abuses at the police officer. Releasing his version of the story, he said that the audio clip has been tampered with and he didn’t make any demand to add or subtract any IPC clause in the case.

Throughout the clip, the police officer reportedly refused to buckle under pressure and maintained that he won’t yield to MLA’s undue demands.
