New Delhi: The national capital will become another international platform for the exhibition tour of the works by the 2022 Andrei Stenin Contest winners. On Friday, an exhibition of over six dozen works opened at AIFACS Gallery, one of the most prestigious art venues in the Indian capital.
The exhibition has been organized with the support of the Sputnik hub in New Delhi and the Russian Embassy in India. Single works and series of images by best young reporters from India, Russia, China, Iran, Italy, Bangladesh, Guatemala, the Philippines and other countries can be viewed at the AIFACS Gallery until February 23. Entrance to the exhibition is free.
Alexander Shtol, executive director of the Andrei Stenin International Photo Press Contest, will deliver the opening remarks.
The road show, which kicked off from Moscow in October 2022, made a stop in Pretoria (South Africa) and Sharjah (UAE). There are also plans to hold exhibitions in other cities around the world, including in the Middle East and Southeast Asia with the support of the competition’s international partners.
As per tradition, the submission of works for the 2023 contest opened on December 22, Andrei Stenin’s birthday.
Applications can be submitted on the contest website in Russian (http://stenincontest.ru), Enlglish (https://stenincontest.com) and Chinese (https://cn.stenincontest.com) throughout February 28.
