New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath completed four years. The Yogi government took the oath of office on March 19, 2017 after BJP’s great victory defeating Akhilesh Yadav’s Samajwadi Party government.

In the last 4 years, UP has emerged as the growth engine of the country. We aim to make the state India’s biggest economy in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), said Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on state government’s completion of 4 years.

“From the World Health Organization to the global media, Uttar Pradesh’s #COVID19 combat strategy has been appreciated by everyone No doubt, a new Uttar Pradesh has emerged in the country,” said CM Yogi Adityanath.

“In 2017, when we formed govt, there were many villages without roads, schools or any development works. In some tribal villages, people didn’t even have voting rights. We ensured that they were not deprived of any of the basic amenities & rights,” he further said.

According to the report card,  UP has shrugged off the tag of a BIMARU state and emerged as the growth engine of the country in the past 04 years.

It is said that the main target of the UP government is to make Uttar Pradesh the biggest economy of India in terms of GSDP.
