New Delhi: Adding to the rising menace of stray dogs, a six-year-old boy was cornered & attacked by a pack of stray dogs in Maharashtra’s Nagpur district. The horrific incident could have turned fatal but it was the valiant act of his mother, which saved his life.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera and also surfaced on social media. The terrifying footage shows the young boy being attacked & mauled by the pack of stray dogs, who also dragged him to a distance.
However, within seconds of dog attack, the boy’s mother comes to his rescue and bravely scares away the rampaging dogs.
In the 31-second video clip, at least 6 dogs could be seen attacking & dragging the boy on a deserted street. The toddler tries to run away but the group of stray dogs keep pulling & dragging him by T-shirt.

It was the timely intervention of his mother that saved his life. The mother bravely scares away group of dogs and rescues the son.
The boy reportedly suffered serious injuries on his legs, arms & back due to dog bite. The boy was rushed to hospital and administered anti-rabies injection.
The incident reportedly took place on April 11. But, it came in public domain only when the terrifying video made its way to social media.
This is latest horrific incident of dog attack menace. In recent past, there have been several instances when stray dogs targeted & attacked toddlers & small kids, also leading to death in some cases.
