New Delhi: PM Modi is all set to deliver his 10th consecutive address from the Ramparts of the Red Fort on the 77th Independence Day. The address will begin at 7:30 IST following the unfurling of the Indian Tricolor.

Several Political Leaders, Ministers from the Cabinet and the service chief of all three forces are present at the occasion.

Prime Minister Modi begins to deliver his address to the nation from New delhi’s Red Fort

“The largest democracy of the world and now also the leading country in terms of population. Such a large country, 140 crore members of my family are celebrating”, Says PM Modi while beginning his address to the country.

“I pay my tributes to all the brave hearts who gave their contribution to India’s freedom struggle” PM Modi continues.

Prime Minister says, “This time, natural calamity has created unimaginable crises in several parts of the country. I express my sympathies to all families who faced it.”

“Today, we have demography, democracy and diversity – these three together have the ability to realise the dreams of the nation. The trinity of demography, democracy and diversity has the power to realise the dreams of the nation”, says PM Modi on the 77th Independence Day.

“I am talking about the last 1000 years because I see that there is opportunity before the country once again…What we do in this era, the steps we take, and the decisions we take one after the other will germinate the golden history of the country in the coming 1000 years.”, PM continues in his adress.

Addressing the youth of the country PM said that India has an abundance of opportunities to provide and there is no lack of opportunities in the country.

Calling India the voice of South Asia, PM Modi in his address said that India has the potential to reach new heights. exports are on the rise and the whole world is admitting that it’s not possible to stop us anymore.

“After Covid19 pandemic, a new world order, a new geo-political equation is taking shape. The definition of geopolitics is changing. Today, the ability of 140 crores can be seen in shaping the new world order”, Says the PM on Independence Day.

Speaking on the country’s future Prime Minister says, “It is safe to say that India’s capability and possibilities are going to cross new heights of trust. These new heights of trust will go ahead with the new capabilities. Today, India has received the opportunity to host G20 Summit. In the past year, the manner in which several events of the G20 were held in every corner of India has made the world aware of the capability of India’s common people, India’s diversity.”

“When our government came to power in 2014, India was in the 10th position in the global economic system. Today, with the efforts of 140 Crore Indians, we have climbed up to the fifth position, This did not happen just like that. The demon of corruption that had the country in its clutches we stopped leakages and created a strong economy.” says PM from the Red Fort.

“The government will launch Vishwakarma scheme with an allocation of Rs 13,000 to 15,000 crores in the next month for those with traditional skills”,  PM Modi says during his 77th Independence Day address to the nation.

Speaking about global inflation PM Modi said that The world is yet to recover from Covid-19 and is facing a crisis of inflation. Inflation has the entire global economy in its clutches. When we import goods into our country, inflation comes along with it. However, India has made all efforts to control inflation.
“We can’t be content just because our situation is better than the rest of the world. I have to take more steps to see that the burden of inflation goes further down on the citizens of my country. We will take those steps and my efforts will continue”, PM added.

PM talks about women’s empowerment and safety saying, “It’s our collective responsibility to ensure the safety of our countrywomen.”

“The one thing that will take the country forward is women-led development. Today, we can proudly say that India has the maximum number of pilots in civil aviation. Women scientists are leading the Chandrayaan mission. The G20 countries are also recognising the importance of women-led development.” PM says in his address to the nation.

Talking about the developments in rural India, PM Modi said, “The Border Villages were called the last villages of the country. we changed that mindset. They are not the last villages in the country. What you can see at the borders is the first village in my country. I am delighted that the special guests of this event are 600 Pradhans of these border villages. They have come here to the Red Fort to be a part of this event.”

In the following 25 years, we must move ahead with unity. India should be a developed nation by the time we celebrate our 100th Independence Day in 2047: PM Modi.

“We must not force the new generation of the country to face the hardships we all have seen, It’s our responsibility to give them a stable and prosperous country”,’ says the PM in his address.

“India needs to fight the three evils of Corruption, Dynasty and Appeasement in order to become a developed nation.”

Targeting the opposition for their familism, PM in his address today said, “Parivarvaad and appeasement have destroyed our country. How can a political party have only one family in charge? For them, their life mantra is party of the family, by the family and for the family.”

PM Modi promises to address the nation once again on the occasion of the 78th Independence Day

In 2047, when we celebrate our 100th Independence Day, the world will be talking about our prosperity”, says PM Modi before concluding the address.

As PM finishes off his address to the nation from the ramparts of Delhi’s Red Fort, Tricoloured balloons were released in the open sky.

A few minutes after the conclusion of his 91 Minute long Speech, Prime Minister Modi interacted with the masses and waved at them from the Red Fort.

In his address, Prime Minister spoke on a number of topics including G-20, Women empowerment, inflammation, youth empowerment, Manipur Violence, Indian economy while stressing making the country a developed and prosperous nation by 15 August 2047.
