New Delhi: The stunts of two wild bears playing with a football has been an entertaining sight for the people of Sukhigaon village in Nabarangpur forest area.
The incident took place in Umerkote block on Sunday, when a group of children playing football in an open field in the village spotted two wild bears approaching them. The children immediately fled from the ground apprehending danger.
However, the two bears decided to display their football skills on finding the ball left on the field, following the departure of the children, before carrying it off with them to the forest.
The bears were spotted playing whole-heartily with the football, as they kick and passed it among themselves. The villagers gathered at a distance to capture the rare event on their smartphones.
The video of the bear duo showcasing playing and enjoying football in their own amusing way is doing rounds on the internet. Odisha Forest and Environment Department has also tweeted the video from their official twitter account.

As per the locals, “The pair of the bear did not seem violent, instead they started playing with the football that left behind. The two animals played for some time and then vanished into the forest”.
