ACB arrests 10 people for supplying substandard equipment in Delhi Govt Hospitals

The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Delhi has arrested 10 people for supply sub standard equipment in six Government hospitals of Delhi.

New Delhi: The Anti-Corruption Branch of Delhi has arrested 10 people for supply sub standard equipment in six Government hospitals of Delhi. The Police has arrested suppliers, manufacturers, doctors, pharmacists for supplying low quality equipment in these hospitals. The Police and Health Department are also conducting inspections at LBS, DDU and GTB Hospital. Apart from this, 14 firms who were allegedly involved in the supplies are also raided.

 

Anti-Corruption Bureau Chief Madhur Verma said that these accused were involved in the supply of sub standard items to six government hospitals of Delhi. According to the Police many other officers, doctors and government officials are also under the scanner. The ACB department is likely to make more arrests after getting a heads up from the higher authorities.
