After giving rape threat to Muslim women Bajrang Muni Das says ”no guilt for what I said”

Bajrang Muni Das added he has no problem going to jail a thousand times and is ready to face many attacks but will continue to safeguard his religion and women.

New Delhi: Bajrang Muni Das of Maharishi Shri Laxman Das Udasi Ashram was granted bail by a local court in Uttar Pradesh’s Sitapur. It is 100 km from the state capital Lucknow. He was released from the district jail on Sunday morning. He was arrested on April 13 for making a controversial statement against Muslim women.

After getting bail, the seer said, ”I have no guilt for what I said.” He added he has no problem going to jail a thousand times and is ready to face many attacks but will continue to safeguard his religion and women.

In a video that went viral on April 2, Das can be listened threatening the Muslim women to rape.

The video was apparently recorded outside a mosque. In the video, Das referred a community with the term ”jehadi”.

He made the rape threat saying if any man of that community harrases Hindi girl, he would himself rape their women.

His remark also drew sharp comments even from the National Commission of women.

Shouting the arrest of Bajrang Muni Das, the commission also said the police must take action against such comments and it cannot be mute spectataros.

Later, another video of Das went viral after police registered an FIR against him. In this video, he can be watched apologising for his statement.

”People presented my statement in a wrong way. I ask unconditional apology for the same,” he said in the video.

He was booked under Indian penal code sections that are related to making hate speech, making derogatory remarks, and sexual harassment.
