New Delhi: India’s Moon Mission took a historic leap on Wednesday as Chandrayaan-3 made successful ‘soft landing’ on the lunar surface.
Soon after successful landing on Moon, the visuals of joy, jubilation & celebration from Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)’s control room streamed all across on TV channels and social media. Prime Minister congratulated the countrymen and saluted the scientists who made the lunar mission a roaring success.
Hours before Chandrayaan-3’s landing on Moon, the nation held yagnas & havans to pray for its success.
While the lander and rover were on way to Moon’s surface, Mahant Swami Maharaj of BAPS held special prayers in New Jersey (USA), along with his followers.
Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha is currently in Robbinsville, New Jersey (USA) for the ‘Festival of Inspirations’, organized under the auspices of ‘Akshardham Mahotsav’.

As the Lander named after Vikram Sarabhai, father of India’s Space Mission, landed on Moon’s surface at 6.04 PM today, Mahant Swami Maharaj and the whole Swamianaryan sect celebrated India’s historic feat.
Back home, the countrymen also erupted in joy, with slogans of ‘Jai Ho’ & ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ reverberating from many parts of the country.
The successful mission makes India, only the fourth nation after US, Russia & China to have successfully place the lander on Moon’s surface. Also, India is the first country to touchdown on South pole of the Moon.
