Ahead of consecration ceremony, preparations for celebrations start in all big temples of the country

Ayodhya: As the much-anticipated consecration ceremony of Lord Rama in the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya is only a few hours away, preparations for celebrations have started in temples across the country. Prior to the event on January 22, various temples have appealed to devotees to celebrate Deepotsav, engage in bhajan-kirtan, and focus on the Shri Ram Sadhana on this day.

It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have also urged people to clean and sanitize their nearby temples and participate in chanting the name of Lord Rama before this event. Additionally, everyone is encouraged to illuminate the Ram Jyoti in their homes through the festival of Deepotsav.

Greetings for the new Diwali have been extended to the entire country from the social media handle X of Salasar Balaji Dham Temple. The post from the handle mentions that the moment of having the darshan of Ram Lalla in his temple in Ayodhya, which the country has been waiting for over 500 years, has arrived. The Lord will now be seated on his throne. Every devotee of Lord Rama is urged to dedicate themselves to the service of the lord by writing ‘Jai Shri Ram’, it adds.

Similarly, from the official handle X of Shri Mahakaleshwar Ujjain, a post featuring the image of Lord Rama has been shared, describing his divine presence. Meanwhile, the Kedarnath Temple Shrine Board shares an image of the idol of Lord Rama to be consecrated with the caption “Mere Raghav.”

Appeal to celebrate with great enthusiasm

Greetings have been extended to all devotees of Lord Rama from the official handle of Kashi Vishwanath Temple as well for the historic occasion of the consecration ceremony scheduled for January 22. An appeal has also been made for all citizens to celebrate this festival with great enthusiasm. People are encouraged to clean the surrounding temples, engage in bhajan-kirtan and celebrate Deepotsav by lighting lamps collectively after sunset.
