New Delhi: Akshay Tritiya is also known as ‘Akha Teej’ or ‘Dhanteras’ of the summer season. The day is regarded as one the most auspicious occasion to get the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi. It is also believed that buying gold on this particular day increases your wealth and brings good fortune in your lives. The Puja that you offer or the mantra that you chant on this day holds special significance. Devotees who are struggling with financial debts or crisis, must offer prayers to Goddess Laxmi on this day. Let’s talk about a few remedies that you can follow on the Akshay Tritiya to get the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi.
Put a picture of Goddess Laxmi and Lord Vishnu and recite Vishnu Sahastranam, Shri Suktam or Kanak dhara strotra. Light up a Diya in front of them and try to ensure the diya lights up till late evening.

You must donate some things today to seek the blessings of Lord Vishnu like Clay Pot or any form of service that can benefit birds animals so that they don’t have to starve for drinking water in the scorching heat.
