Ala Hazrat Dargah in UP’s Bareilly condemns beheading of Kanhaiya Lal

Bareilly’s Ala Hazrat Dargah is not the first Muslim organization that condemned the ghastly murder of Udaipur tailor. Before this, several Muslim leaders & organizations have objected to radicals taking law into their hands and hacking someone to death.

New Delhi: Amid the wide anger & outrage over the brutal killing of Hindu tailor by two radicals Ghaus Mohammad & Riyaz Akhtari, the Ala Hazrat Dargarh in UP’s Bareilly has condemned the heinous murder in Udaipur last month.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Maulana Shahabuddin Razvi said that the incident has made the entire community bow its head in shame and remorse.

He said that the Prophet Muhammed never objected to anyone who criticized him or used foul language against him.

“He always asked his followers not to even think of revenge against those who opposed him. Beheading someone is certainly not what Islam propagates. Islam does not believe in the sword-it believes in love and harmony,” a news agency reported quoting Maulana of Ala Hazrat Dargah.

He also advocated for stern punishment for the Kanhaiya Lal’s killers to set an example that peace & harmony of the country can’t be taken for granted & gutted in violence.

Bareilly’s Ala Hazrat Dargah is not the first Muslim organization that condemned the ghastly murder of Udaipur tailor. Before this, several Muslim leaders & organizations have objected to radicals taking law into their hands and hacking someone to death. AIMPLB recently said that though Nupur’s words hurt the community hard but no one should be allowed to take the law into their hands.

“Neither the law nor the Islamic Sharia allows it. The All India Muslim Personal Law Board strongly condemns the incident of brutal killing in Udaipur,” Hazrat Maulana Khalid Saifullah Rahmani, General Secretary of AIMPLB had said.
