New Delhi: Amid the growing talks about possible name change of the country from ‘India to Bharat’, a tweet by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan on Tuesday has given fresh impetus on the issue.

Big B taking to X (formerly called Twitter) today afternoon, wrote “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”, though he didn’t give any context behind this tweet, leaving the netizens guessing & speculating over why he posted this.

Big B’s salute to the ‘Bharat Mata’ comes amid reports, though unconfirmed, that the Modi government may bring a resolution to this effect, during the upcoming special session of Parliament from September 18-22.
