New Delhi: For last 2-3 days, Rajasthan has remained the center of political activity with Ashok Gehlot-Sachin Pilot fight being played out in full public glare. Now, the issue looks more or less settled with Gehlot getting the upper hand, he is winning accolades for holding ground and reining in his detractors.
Beena Kak, a former Rajasthan minister today sang paeans in praise of the veteran Congress leader Ashok Gehlot. She showered praise on the Rajasthan CM for his political acumen and shrewdness while taunted his detractors.
Reading a ‘najm’, Kak described Ashok Gehlot as a majestic magician, a hunter who prepares his prey for hunting. Taking on his rivals, she says, “those who used to murmur are now indulging in chest-thumping.”
Further berating his rivals, Kak said those who didn’t have any say in the party or were rather redundant are engaging in dubious means to come on the frontfoot and are pretending to be extra-knowledgeable.

It may be noted that Ashok Gehlot’s father Laxman Singh Daksh was a professional magician and the former spent a good part of his childhood in learning the magic tricks from his father. In fact, Gehlot also performed magic tricks on stage alongside father during abroad visits.
