Amit Shah, CM Kejriwal and LG Anil Baijal to meet tomorrow to discuss Covid-19 situation

The meeting will take place at 11 AM on Sunday and will also have presence of AIIMS Director and SDMA members to review the situation in the capital.

New Delhi: Home minister Amit Shah and health minister Dr Harsh Vardhan will meet Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal tomorrow to discuss Covid situation in the national capital.

“Home Minister, Shri @AmitShah and Health Minister, @drharshvardhan to hold meeting with @LtGovDelhi, CM Delhi & members of SDMA to review situation in the capital regarding COVID-19 tomorrow, 14th June at 11 am. Director AIIMS and other senior officers would also be present,” Shah’s office tweeted.

The meeting will take place at 11 AM on Sunday and will also have presence of AIIMS Director and SDMA members to review the situation in the capital.

The meeting follows exponential rise of new Corona cases in Delhi. As per latest figures, the Corona count has almost reached 40,000 while more than 1200 have succumbed to deadly virus in the city.

Shah, Kejriwal met few days before

Earlier this week, Amit Shah and Arvind Kejriwal met at Home Minister’s residence, a day after the Chief Minister was tested negative for the virus. After the meeting, Kejriwal had tweeted that the Home Minister had “assured all cooperation”.
