New Delhi: A viral video from Lucknow has been doing rounds on social media all day. The video is said to be from Lucknow’s Awadh Crossing, where a girl can be seen assaulting a cab driver, dragging him from collar and repeatedly beating him.
The video was first uploaded by a twitter handle ‘Megh Updates’. The girl assaulted the cab driver in the presence of a traffic police constable, who did not intervene or stopped the girl at all.

In another tweet, an update was also added to the incident, claiming that even the person who came to rescue the cab driver was also assaulted by the girl.

The girl even destroyed cab driver’s phone during the clash. In the background of the video, people can be heard saying, “This girl is an idiot, what would people do if a boy was thrashing a girl for so long?”
After the video went viral, # arrestLucknowgirl began trending on Twitter with widespread criticism for the girl’s alleged behaviour alongside demands of legal action against her.
