
New Delhi: As India remains in the threos of monstrous second wave of Covid-19, Karnataka emerged as one of the biggest Corona hotspots in the country. The sudden jump in fresh Covid-19 cases created havoc across the country and threw the medical administration in a tizzy.
With around 40,000 Corona cases reported daily, it even surpassed Maharashtra while Bengaluru emerged as the epicenter of pandemic in the state, reporting more than 15,000 cases in a day.
480 patients succumbed to the contagious virus including including 259 in Bengaluru yesterday, taking the state’s death toll rose to 19,852 and the city’s toll to 8,690 till date.
Yediyurappa govt swung into action and appointed 5 five Cabinet ministers to manage the Covid crisis in the state.

The Minister has been working overtime and going out of the way to help Covid patients and extend all-possible assistance to frontline and healthcare workers. He has been regularly taking stock of hospitals, monitoring supply of oxygen and life saving drugs and encouraging people to get vaccinated at the earliest.
