Wanted Lakha Sidhana releases another video, says govt trying to create fear, urges youth to join kisan rally

New Delhi: Wanted by Delhi Police for instigating violence during the farmers’ tractor rally on Republic Day Gangster Lakha Sidhana once again released an inflammatory video urging the youth in Punjab to come in large numbers at farmer rally in Bhatinda.

While on the run, Lakha has been regularly uploading videos on social media.

In the latest Facebook video, Sidhana urged people to gather in large numbers at the grain market in Mehraj, Bathinda district headquarters. He also said that the farmers’ protest is 7 months old and has reached its peak.

The centre is trying to create a fear among the farmers by registering false cases against them, said Sidhana.

Bathinda range inspector general of police Jaskaran Singh said the district police have not received any information about Sidhana. “I have learnt that a rally has been planned at Mehraj. It’s up to Delhi Police to arrest him, but the Bathinda police have hardly any role in it,” the IGP said.
