Assembly Elections 2021: Here’s how you can download your digital voter ID card

New Delhi: Election Commission of India has started the service of ‘e-EPIC’ (Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card), which is a non-editable and secure PDF version of the voter id (EPIC).

The Election Commission has started the service of Electronic Electoral Photo Identity Card (e-EPIC), a non-editable and secure PDF version of the electoral photo identity card (EPIC).

e-EPIC is a digital PDF version of the EPIC, people can download their cards on mobile or in a self-printable form on the computer. After downloading a person can store the card on his/her mobile, upload it on Digi locker, print it, and self-laminate it. This is an addition to the PCV EPIC which is being issued on fresh registration.

e-EPIC is an equally valid ID proof for voter identification. In this digital version, the people will have a secured QR code along with their images and demographics like serial number, part number, etc.

Steps to download e-EPIC

• Visit the portal by clicking here
• Click on the ‘e-EPIC Download’ option
• Register or login with your username and password
• If registering, enter your EPIC number along with your mobile number
• Then enter the OTP
• Click on Download e-EPIC
