Bajrang Dal Activist Murdered in Karnataka’s Shivamogga: BJP leader Giriraj Singh, CM Basavaraj Bommai and others react

Hindu boy murdered for protesting against wearing Hijab in schools and colleges in Karnataka’s Shivamogga.

New Delhi: Bajrang Dal activist, Harsha- 26-year-old was allegedly murdered on Sunday(February 20) at around 9 pm in Karnataka’s Shivamogga.

Harsha,  was reportedly attacked by at least four persons around 9 pm last night. Although, he was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries but did not survive.

Following the activist’s death, security has been tightened. Meanwhile, some miscreants burnt several vehicles in the Seegehatti area in Shivamogga city following the incident.

Following the incident, schools and colleges in city limits have been closed for two days.

BJP Minister, Shandilya Giriraj Singh said that “those who teach the lesson of freedom of expression are missing.”

It is also said that, he was protesting against wearing Hijab in schools and colleges in Karnataka’s Shivamogga.

In 2015, a fatwa was issued in 2015 against him by Facebook group ‘Mangalore Muslims’
