About BAPS Temples
BAPS is a social-spiritual Hindu faith, with its roots in the Vedas. It was revealed by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the late 18th century and establishedby Shastriji Maharaj in 1907.
For the unversed, the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha reaches out to people across the globe, via its mandirs and centers. Today, there are about 1100 mandirs and 3850 spiritual centres across the globe, operating under the BAPS Global Network. They serve as common places of worship for people of all ages and background & beliefs.
As per BAPS estimates, there are a million of Swaminaryan followers, who begin their day with puja & medication and strike to live life with honest & upright means while serving others.
