New Delhi: The autopsy report of Anjali Singh, the 20-year-old woman who was dragged for 13 km under a car that hit her scooter had at least 40 external injuries.

The reports said the injuries were so severe that her ribs were exposed from her back as skin peeled away.

The Autopsy report further said the base of her skull was fractured and some “brain matter was missing”.

After being dragged she also had injuries on the head, spine, and lower limbs.

The cause of her death was said to be “shock and haemorrhage”. The autopsy report also said “no injury suggestive of sexual assault”.

Earlier, the victim’s mother had alleged that her daughter was raped.

After being dragged, her clothes were ripped off as the men kept driving the car from Sultanpuri, where her scooty had collided.

According to Anjali’s friend Nidhi who was present at the time of the accident said the victim’s leg was stuck in the front axle. She said the man driving the car knew “she was stuck in the undercarriage”.

Meanwhile, the men who were present inside the car said they stopped after they spotted her hand while taking a u-turn and then the body fell. Theu said after they fled from the spot and returned the car to a friend from whom they’d borrowed it.
