New Delhi: Delhi Court awards death penalty to convict Ariz Khan in 2008 Batla House encounter case. The court calls the case as ‘rarest of rare case’. Court has imposed fine of Rs. 11 lakhs out of which Rs. 10 lakhs will be given to the family of the deceased Inspector, MC Sharma.
Ariz Khan was arrested in February 2018. by the Special Cell of Delhi Police after a decade of allegedly being on the run. According to Delhi Police, Ariz Khan was at the spot during the Batla encounter but managed to escape.
