
New Delhi: Former Madhya Pradesh minister and Congress leader Raja Pateria has landed himself in trouble for inciting people to kill PM Modi.
He made a controversial remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi where he asked people to be ready to kill Modi as the lives of minorities are in danger.
In the video which has gone viral on social media, the Cong leader can be heard asking people to ‘kill Modi to protect the constitution.’
He can be heard saying, PM Modi will end elections, divide people based on religion and Dalits will face the biggest threat under his regime.
BJP seek action against him
Soon after the video surfaced online, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra ordered to file an FIR against the Congress leader.

BJP’s Shehzad Jai Hind also demanded action against him.

Raja Pateria issues clarification
Following this, he clarified that his remark against PM Modi was presented out of context. He said he did not mean to kill Modi but he meant to defeat Narendra Modi in the upcoming elections.
