Earlier, Nitish and Tejashwi also met Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and former MP Rahul Gandhi. The leaders met at Kharge’s Delhi residence and reportedly, it was Kharge who called the meeting.
Rahul Gandhi called it a historic meeting and added that they decided to unite all parties and fight the Lok Sabha polls in a ‘united manner’. They decided that those who agree with them, can move ahead together and decide upon the future course of action.
While JD(U), RJD and Congress have a coalition government in Bihar, reportedly, Kharge is in talks with Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin and Uddhav Thackeray in their process of uniting the parties against BJP.
