Scribe was key witness to brother’s murder, 2 years ago

According to reports, scribe Vimal Kumar was key witness to the killing of his brother, two years ago. His brother, a village sarpanch was murdered two years ago by some ruffians and trial was underway in the case.

Vimal was reportedly threatened, some days ago not to testify in the case but he rightfully refused to obey the criminals. Prime facie, his murder is understood to be a fall-out of this denial to testify in his brother’s murder case.

However, this is not an isolated incident in Bihar. Days ago, another scribe named Balram Vishwas was fired upon by assailants but he survived the bullet attack.
