New Delhi: In a shocking incident, pictures of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan have been found on admit cards issued by a university in the state.
The admit cards were issued to examinees who are BA part III students of colleges based at Madhubani, Samastipur and Begusarai districts, all theses colleges are affiliated to the Lalit Narayan Mithila University headquartered in Darbhanga.
Meanwhile, Mushtaq Ahmed, the university’s registrar said that a serious note has been taken after the incident was highlighted on social media. Also, an inquiry has been ordered and the concerned students have been issued a show cause notices.
He further said that an FIR may also be lodged in this case.
He said the admit cards were issued online on the official website, and the students were provided with a unique login details to download their admit cards.
The Registrar further said, after the investigation, an exemplary action will be taken.
Few years back, a similar incident was reported from Muzaffarpur where admit card of a student showed the names Emraan Hashmi and Sunny Leone.
