New Delhi: The Delhi Court today convicted NGO owner Brajesh Thakur for sexual assault on girls at Muzaffarpur shelter home.

The sex abuse case surfaced during a survey by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

The court found 19 of the 20 accused, including former Bihar People’s Party MLA Brajesh Thakur, guilty on a number of charges, including criminal conspiracy to commit rape and penetrative sexual assault against minors.

The court had earlier deferred for the third time pronouncement of judgement in the case till January 20 after the petition was filed before it.
