BJP MP Varun Gandhi to face disciplinary action, says Union Minister Arjun Meghwal

BJP MP mounted scathing attack on the Centre as well as Yogi govt over Lakhimpur Kheri case, in which MoS Ajay Mishra Teni is in line of fire of political rivals, for his son’s alleged mowing down four protesting farmers.

New Delhi: Varun Gandhi, BJP MP from Pilibhit, is in all likelihood get the axe for his provocative & insulting remarks against the party leadership in last few days.

Varun Gandhi has been on a diatribe spree against the party and also questioned & cornered his own government over people’s issues. He also mounted scathing attack on the Centre as well as Yogi govt on Lakhimpur Kheri case, in which MoS Ajay Mishra Teni is in line of fire of political rivals, for his son’s alleged mowing down four protesting farmers.

Upping the ante and escalating his pitch against the party, the BJP MP on Tuesday claimed that he is the only person who raises issue of increasing sugarcane MSP, while other MPs and MLAs do not have the courage to talk about it.

He said that other party colleagues do not raise such issue as they fear losing out poll tickets.

“Those leaders fear that they will not get (poll) tickets. If the voice of the people is not raised by the public representatives, then who will raise it? It makes no difference to me if I do not get a poll ticket. My mother has won elections as an Independent candidate. I will only say the truth. Governments come and go,” Varun Gandhi said.

Asserting himself further, he said that he is a “revolutionary” leader and cannot see injustice being done to people.
