BJP to make clean sweep in Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh elections: ABP C-Voter survey

BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to make a clean sweep in the poll of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh elections.

New Delhi: BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is set to make a clean sweep in Gujarat elections. According to the ABP C-Voter survey results, Congress has emerged as the second biggest party in the state. However, Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP is expected to win 12 to 17 teams.

Notably, the survey results came just a day after the Election Commission announced the date of the poll in the state. The poll will be held in the state in two phases — December 1 and December 5.

Results of polls in Gujarat

According to the survey results in Gujarat, BJP will get between 131 to 139 seats out of the total 182 seats. On the other hand, Congress will get around 31 to 39 seats, followed by the AAP and others.

If we check the percentage of voters to the parties, the survey results suggest the BJP’s vote share has gone down 3.7% from 49.1% to 45.4%. The Indian National Congress’s vote share has suffered a loss of 12.4% to reach 29.1% from 41.4%.

However, the AAP is likely to witness a drastic change jumping vote percentage from 0 to 20.2%.

Himachal Pradesh Opinion poll 

As per the results of the opinion poll results released on October 3, BJP will get between 37 to 45 seats out of the total 68 seats in Himachal Pradesh while the Congress may secure 21 to 29 seats. The seats may vary if the new poll comes in the coming days.
