PM Modi’s father’s angle in Cadbury advertisement
The advertisement was released on Diwali showing a roadside earthen lamp seller, namely Damodar, who was gifted Cadbury by a doctor.
Notably, the current Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was born in a Gujarati Hindu family. He is the third child of his father Damodardas Mulchand Modi and his mother Hiraben Modi. Netizens criticised the brand for using PM Modi’s father name in its advertisement to gain publicity.
