Caught On CCTV: Police vehicle runs over 2 girls in Jalandhar, one killed on spot
New Delhi: A police officer’s speeding vehicle allegedly ran over two girls on Monday morning near the highway in Punjab’s Jalandhar. The accident left one of them dead on the spot while the other was seriously injured was admitted to a local hospital.
As per reports, the deceased has been identified as Navjot Kaur who used to work at a local car showroom. Navjot was standing on the roadside along with her friend when the speeding vehicle allegedly mowed them down.

The cop who was allegedly driving the car has been identified as Amrit Pal Singh and has been arrested. This incident has triggered protests as the families of the victims blocked the highway seeking justice over the case.
